have you ever experienced a love so great...

a love that holds you, when you¡¯ve lost everything you once held.

a love that accepts you, no matter how many times you have rejected it.

a love that has known you, before you were known to anyone.

a love that waits for you, even when you¡¯ve left it behind.

a love that forgives you, when you can¡¯t even forgive yourself.

a love that you can run to, when you¡¯ve run from everything else.

a love that will never fail you, a love that will never leave, a love that loves to love you, a love that desires you to love it back.

a love that makes you
stand in awe, while the rest of the world races round.

1 Corinthians 13:

1If I speak in the tongues of men

and of angels, but have not

love, I am only a resounding gong or a

 clanging cymbal. 2If I have

the gift of prophecy and can fathom

 all mysteries and all

knowledge, and if I have a faith that

can move mountains, but have

not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all

I possess to the poor and

surrender my body to the flames,

but have not love, I gain

 nothing.

4Love is patient, love is kind.

It does not envy, it does not

boast, it is not proud. 5It is not

rude, it is not self-seeking, it is

not easily angered, it keeps no

record of wrongs. 6Love does not

delight in evil but rejoices with the

 truth. 7It always protects,

  always trusts, always hopes,

 always perseveres.

8Love never fails. But where there

are prophecies, they will

 cease; where there are tongues,

they will be stilled; where

there is knowledge, it will pass away.

9For we know in part and

we prophesy in part, 10but when

 perfection comes, the imperfect

 disappears. 11When I was a child,

 I talked like a child, I thought

like a child, I reasoned like a child.

When I became a man, I put

 childish ways behind me. 12Now

we see but a poor reflection as in

a mirror; then we shall see face to

face. Now I know in part;

then I shall know fully, even

 as I am fully known.

    13And now these three remain:

faith, hope and love. But the

 greatest of these is love.

...a love so great, it can only come from a God so great.

wow, theres a place called Amanda, Ohio.......

and its right by Lancaster, Ohio.weirded out.

----------------------------------------------------------------

friday: uhhh, i basically did nothing. oh, my speech-so now

 its over, yay!

--------------------------------------------------------------
saturday: cleaned a house for our work project.

then went to the Taj Mahal to eat Indian food for dinner,

mmm
. i like it there because they have a whole page for

vegetarian people, yay. there was this little kid playing with

his superhero there and i wanted to be the arch-enemy so

 bad.

mango juice=delicious.

when we left it was
raining. i jumped around in the parking

lot.when my superhero friend left, he danced in the parking

lot in the rain, which inspired me. im always looking for

chances to dance in the rain. it reminded me of the first snowfall

of the year, which happened when my sister and i were at the

Taj Mahal waiting for our parents, so i went out, naturally.

you have to dance in the first snowfall. so i guess ive danced in

that parking lot in all sorts of weather.

friday i was going to post, then decided not to, so i made it

 private.

"
what i need is a nice rain, to dance in.
you havent lived untill youve danced in the rain.
maybe i should use my old xanga again.
i found this poem somewhere, its only part, the
rest was sort of dumb.

Dancing In The Rain

A warm summer rain was gently coming down

She took his hand and beckoned him
To come dance in the rain with her

His eyes looked at her in amusement,
Not really believing she meant it

Come dance with me, she urged him on
As she held his hand even tighter
Head thrown back and with a deep warm laugh
He went out with her into the rain"

so you can see, i was in need of rain.

eating swedish fish and listening to the rain, does life get

 much better?

----------------------------------------------------------------

sunday(today): church, then ministry central, where we

planned the 6th graders moving up thing. hawaiian theme-yay.

i did some homework on the hammock, and then my doggy

and i went on a walk in some trees and pretended we were

explorers discovering new land. i forgot how much fun that

sort of thing was. i wished on every dandelion to never grow

----------------------------------------------------------------

<3 here am i, proof that the sun

sets too fast. so don't waste it,

my  love. run out to greet it, and

watch every moment of it. if you

turn, it will be gone when you

get back. such a beautiful thing,

 the setting of the sun

------------------------------------------

have a wonderful day.

love, amanda
